Really good aesthetics, loved the tables, the decor, the dinnerware, the online ordering system, and the efficacy of how the waiters are both minimally reaching out but also quite available and hospitable and helpful when you need something, which gives off a very comfortable vibe to the place. Perfect for catchup with friends or family or significant other(s). I've visited twice in the past few days and loved the experience both times. The potatoes here are to die for! On certain dishes I do believe slight tweaks would help but Cappella just does such a great job that I'll willing to ignore those.

We had a wonderful experience at Capella Cafe, Mangalore. We ordered pancakes, Turkish Eggs, Eggs Benedict, and an English breakfast, everything was really good. The pancakes were soft, fluffy, and delicious, with super yummy cream. The Turkish Eggs were rich and flavourful, while the Eggs Benedict was perfectly done with silky hollandaise sauce. The English breakfast was well prepared and satisfying. We also tried cold coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and a latte, and all the beverages were equally good. Lovely food and pleasant ambience. The waiting time was quite long, so be prepared for that, but the food made it worth the wait. A place definitely worth visiting again.

Visited Capella Bakery for breakfast recently, and they truly live up to all the hype! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The service was quick and friendly, and the overall experience was amazing. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again!

Absolutely loved this bakery! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and our food arrived right on time. Everything tasted amazing, and honestly, this place is one of the best in Mangalore if you’re looking for something filling yet cozy. The sandwiches deserve a special mention and they are genuinely to die for. My only request would be to add more sandwich options to the menu because they’re easily the highlight. The ambience is beautiful too, especially during the afternoon and at night. It’s very calming and aesthetic. I also tried the cold coffee, which was nice too. The cheesecake was pretty good, not top-notch, but still enjoyable because the chocolate sauce had gone cold. I also tried the red velvet cupcake and the chocolate ganache cupcake. I absolutely loved the red velvet cupcake, it was really good, while the chocolate ganache one was nice too. I look forward to coming back again and trying out more from the menu!

I recently tried Capella for the 2nd coz the 1st time included burnt basque cheesecake which is a must try and absolutely loved the experience So on the next visit we tried Pancakes – 5/5 A must-try! The compote and crumble were super yummy and added the perfect sweetness and texture. Cold Coffee – 4/5 Refreshing and well balanced. Could be a bit stronger, but still really good. Smokey Red Chilli Pasta – 4.5/5 The flavours were top notch! Perfectly cooked, smoky, and deliciously spicy. Grilled Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich – 3.5/5 The filling was fab and flavourful, but the ciabatta bread felt a bit dry. Still enjoyable overall. Overall, Capella is definitely worth a visit—great flavours, good portions, and a lovely experience!

Nice place to hang out with friends. Food was really good and the place also had a nice vibe. We ordered pasta which was very well made, pancakes were soft and fluffy. We also ordered eggs benedict which was also good.

Coming to the food — the desserts are definitely the highlight here. The cheesecake is creamy and perfectly balanced in sweetness, while the milk cake is an absolute must-try — soft, rich, and flavorful. Their drinks and beverages are also great, with a good range of coffee and refreshing coolers. The pasta/spaghetti could be better — it’s a bit on the bland side — but apart from that, everything else tastes amazing. From starters to small bites, everything is well-presented and flavorful. Overall, Capella Café is an underrated gem in Mangalore that truly stands out for its ambience, hospitality, and desserts.
